After yet another sell out year the Jingle Bell Bop returns to
Tadcaster on Sunday December 22nd 2024. This year we have two showings to choose from, our first show is at 12noon with doors open from 11:30am and our second show starts at 3pm with doors open from 2:30pm.
It's part party, part panto as Santa, his elves and his fairies take you on a magical interactive journey that's sure to get you in the festive mood.
Santa's head Elf, Elfie, will guide you through the show and introduce you to the rest of our characters as well as Father Christmas himself. Unlike a conventional sit down panto we encourage children to be on their feet during the show and between each short stage act there are dance for the children to join in with. There are plenty of chances for children to join in with the traditional pantomime shouts such as "he's behind you" and the show is relaxed and inviting for children of all ages.
Of course every child receives a gift from Santa, you can sing, dance and meet the fairies, craft with our elves and there are prizes for the best dressed bopper so if you want to come in fancy dress we'd love to see you!
Santa has also told us that he'll be happy to write letters for all the boys and girls who attend the Jingle Bell Bop, if you'd like to pre-order a special letter from Father Christmas to your child or children you can do so when you book your tickets. The letter will be available for collection before the start of the show!
"We loved it thank you, what a great introduction to panto for my little ones" Sarah,York
"A big thank you to everyone involved. Stanley and I had a great time!" Madeline
"We will be back next year with more friends, looking forward to the Christmas fun" Angie, Bishopthorpe
"The whole family including the grandparents had a fantastic time defiantly gets you in the mood for Christmas" Alison, Selby
